More About Us:
Solidarity Helping Hand is a welfare organization based on the principles of the Help Each Other movement of 1949. Our focus is to find an answer to the Afrikaner poverty crisis through a variety of projects. We do this by alleviating, preventing and breaking the poverty people through various projects.
Helping Hand seeks to alleviate, break and prevent cultural, physical and spiritual poverty through social services, training and community development.
Helping Hand has a variety of projects aimed at alleviating the suffering of needy people. These projects include the Lunchbox, Schoolbag and #HelpHetta project.
Furthermore, Helping Hand has more than 150 branches nationwide that are our hands and feet in the community. These branches consist of volunteers who identify the need of Afrikaners in their communities and then address it within the framework of Helping Hand.
One of Helping Hands biggest focuses is the training of our children and young people to prevent them from ending up in the cycle of poverty.
The Study Fund Center offers interest-free study loans to young people for tertiary studies.
Helping Hand has more than 40,000 supporters who make a monthly contribution by debit order. We do not receive any assistance from the state and depend on the contributions of ordinary people to fund our projects.
